Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the following activities as a key member of the delivery team:

Build applications on the Salesforce platform
Integrate Salesforce with 3rd party applications
Participate in product and feature design with product team and business partners
Design applications based on common design patterns and best practice algorithms
Plan, design, and enhance automation framework, utilities and tools
Participate in and contribute to code reviews
Work with engineers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners for solution delivery
Ensure product quality meets customer expectations

Required Skills

Strong communications skills, both written and spoken, in conveying/understanding complex concepts both to/from technical and non-technical audience.
3+ years of experience programming with Java, Apex, and other strongly-typed object-oriented language.
Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented programming.
Experience implementing complex technical projects at enterprise scale.
Extensive experience of full stack web application development, from design and implementation, from backend data design to middleware, web services and front-end technologies.
Experience with web services integration through SOAP or REST.
Experience with Git, merging, managing branches, reviewing PRs and resolving conflicts.
Experience in consuming and build CI/CD for deployment to cloud services and automating tests.
Proven ability to lead and influence the design approach to new applications and features.
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Ability to be a team player, motivate people, ensure accountability and achieve results.

Preferred Skills

Experience developing with Salesforce Platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components)
General experience with Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ specifically)
Industry certification (ex. Java, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Developer)
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science (optional)

Location

All roles are currently remote and US-based; some travel will be required based on customer or company need. We are not creating Road Warriors, and it is a new world where remote is often favored by our clients.
